Mahindra XUV700 – Mahindra is getting geared up to make one of its well-performing SUVs more attractive with the introduction of the XUV700 Facelift, which may be launched with a new name XUV7XO. The initial interior camouflaged images have now come out, revealing a number of significant improvements, yet the primary mechanical arrangement remains the same.
What’s New Inside
The facelift has made the interior of the cabin a more premium and tech-loaded place. The new two-spoke steering wheel that bears an illuminated Mahindra Twin Peaks logo is the most prominent of the changes. A dual-tone Brown and Black leatherette theme enveloped the steering and dashboard, with the latter receiving a soft-touch surface to provide the luxury feel. The inboard AC vents have been revamped with a chrome accent, and Mahindra has also fitted an auto-dimming IRVM along with Harman Kardon premium speakers to enhance the overall in-cabin audio experience. The test vehicle spotted had an automatic transmission paired with a diesel engine that indicates the continuation of the Diesel-AT combo.

Triple Screen Layout
The most significant highlight of the interior is still the triple screen configuration. The passenger compartment is equipped with three screens of 12.3 inches each, which are placed next to each other: one for the digital instrument panel, one for the infotainment system, and the third for the entertainment of the co-driver. It is anticipated that Mahindra will extend the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) arrangement for the entertainment of second-row passengers.

Interior and Exterior Changes
The XUV700 facelift not only brings about the significant changes in the interior but also enhances the exterior to a great extent. The new front end comes with a totally new grille with twin-barrel LED projector headlights and LED DRLs that have a new design. The back adds a new tail-light signature which is less cluttered and has a modern appearance. The front and back of the SUV look more premium with the inclusion of the fog lights which have a cornering function, thus increasing the visibility for night driving.
Features
Mahindra is likely to keep all the main convenience and safety features of the present XUV700. The list of features includes: the panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, heated front seats, driver seat with memory function, multi-zone climate control, wireless smartphone integration, Level-2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, and all-four disc brakes. These features are already an inseparable part of the XUV700’s alluring character and will probably be unchanged.

Engine Options
Nothing on the mechanical side will change in the facelift. Mahindra will continue selling the hot 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre turbo diesel mills, complemented by a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The entire package of strong performance and smooth driving dynamics remains one of the major selling points of the XUV700.
Launch
The Mahindra XUV700 Facelift, also Known as XUV7XO, is looking almost ready for production and is projected to be officially launched by 2026. As Mahindra decides the model for the Indian market, more information regarding pricing, and variations is likely to be unveiled nearer to the launch.
