Tata Sierra Launch – The eagerly anticipated Tata Sierra lifestyle SUV will finally be available for purchase in India tomorrow. The public has already been shown Tata Motors’ depiction of both the new Sierra’s outside and inside, but the complete engine specifications and the selection of variants will be disclosed at the time of the launch. The Sierra, which is situated between the Curvv and Harrier in the company’s lineup, will battle against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and other midsize SUVs.

Price
It is expected that Tata Motors will set a low price for the Sierra because it will come with three engine choices such as NA petrol, turbo petrol, and turbo diesel. By using the naturally aspirated petrol engine, the car manufacturer will be able to set the lowest price. The price of the new Tata Sierra is expected to fall between ₹11 lakh and ₹20 lakh. The Sierra, which is being marketed as a lifestyle SUV, will be a more expensive option but still a premium one in comparison to the established competitors in the segment.
Engines
Tata Sierra will come with a choice of three powertrains; 1.5L NA petrol, 1.5L turbo petrol, and 1.5L turbo diesel.
The NA petrol unit is derived from the 1.5L DI turbo petrol architecture that was created at the 2023 Auto Expo and is very likely to provide 120hp and 140Nm. The 1.5L turbo petrol will produce 170hp and 280Nm, which will make it the strongest SUV in its category. The diesel variant will be sourced from the Nexon and Curvv, using the same 1.5L turbo unit that produces around 118hp and 260Nm. A choice of manual or automatic transmissions will be available for all variants in the lineup.
Features
With the new Tata Sierra, the automotive world is going to witness the very first midsize SUV with a triple-screen dashboard setup in the cars, although this layout will only be available in the top-spec trim. The less expensive models will have a dual-screen setup. Among the numerous features are a panoramic sunroof, powered driver’s seat with memory, ventilated front seats, Bose mode, Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos, heads-up display, powered tailgate and automatic climate control.
