Design

The strong point of the new edition is the blazing Sundowner Orange paint that gives the bike a daring and lively character on the road. Moreover, several premium features originally available at a cost have been included by Royal Enfield, thus aesthetic and utility have been twofold. Such features consist of a touring seat—windshield, passenger backrest, tripper navigation pod for turn-by-turn directions, aluminum tubeless spoke wheels, adjustable brake and clutch levers, LED headlamp, USB Type-C charging port, and a badge commemorating the Motoverse 2025 event. All these upgrades make the Sundowner Orange edition which is already equipped with touring features that do not require aftermarket modifications.

Engine

The beautiful layer of paint doesn’t cover the dependable 349.34 cc single-cylinder engine of the Meteor 350 Sundowner Orange, which produces 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque. The 5-speed gearbox with slip-and-assist clutch is a good foundation for the engine and its performance is smooth, which is perfect for beginner riders, while at the same time it can be relaxing to cruiser on the highway. Also, the motorcycle is light in handling, which makes it suitable for not only new but also for casual riders who want a versatile cruiser.

Comfort and Handling

The commendable support and control of the Meteor 350 platform come from its twinned downtube frame that is very stable. The Sundowner Orange variant has been outfitted with 41 mm forks at the front featuring a 130 mm travel and dual rear shocks that allow for 6 different preload settings. And the overall cushioning performance is city plus and long-distance travel together with a wide-open comfort zone.

Dimensions and Practicality

Royal Enfield has designed the motorcycle to be suitable for daily usage. The Sundowner Orange version of the Meteor 350 has a 765 mm high seat, a total weight of 191 kg, and a fuel tank with a capacity of 15 liters. The long wheelbase in combination with the 170 mm clearance height gives the bike stability and enables it to conquer and even smooth up rough roads easily.

Verdict
