Benelli TRK 902 Stradale – Benelli has unveiled the TRK 902 Stradale, which is the newest member of the adventure-touring family and a motorcycle that is completely made for long-distance road touring. The Stradale, unlike the off-road-oriented TRK 902 Xplorer, will be slower than its competitors when it comes to off-road. Naturally, this also raises the question if Benelli is planning to launch the TRK 902 Stradale in India. The company has not yet revealed its growth prospects in India, however, potential adoption of TRK 502 could be a determining factor for Benelli in the future.

Powerful 904 cc Engine
The TRK 902 Stradale’s main component is the 904 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine coupled with a six-speed transmission and Bosch ride-by-wire system. The engine produces power and torque of approximately 96 bhp and 90 Nm respectively, which makes it suitable for high-speed touring. The shorter-travel Marzocchi suspension helps lower the seat height to 805 mm without sacrificing comfort, thus enhancing long-distance travel for a larger group of riders.
High-Tech Comfort
Benelli has fitted the Stradale with amenities that are perfect for the highway. The windscreen that can be adjusted electrically, cruise control, heated grips and heated seats are among the measures that help to maintain comfort during changes in temperature. Additionally, the motorcycle is provided with a seven-inch fully colored TFT display with the navigation function built-in, thus making it easier to take long trips since they will be better organized. The rider’s as well as the passenger’s comfort has been taken care of by the relaxed ergonomics consisting of a wide and soft seat which will keep the rider comfortable even during long rides.

Safety Features
The TRK 902 Stradale is equipped with a comprehensive electronic system that makes it one of the most technologically advanced tourers in the market. The bikers have the option to choose their riding styles from Sport, Touring, and Urban, while traction control, ABS, tyre-pressure monitoring, and a quickshifter contribute to the rider’s safety and comfort. Furthermore, highway riders can have the radar-based blind-spot detection system fitted, which will be signaling on the TFT display and mirrors, for safer riding.
Practical Add-Ons
With the TRK 902 Stradale a totally 20-litre gas tank is available, which means less frequent fuel stops covering the whole country with one ride. Accessories such as crash bars, integrated luggage systems, and dash-cam are welcome support for serious tourers, and they are all optional. The motorcycle’s road-oriented character is shown with premium parts like Brembo brakes, Pirelli Angel GT2 tires, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Will the TRK 902 Stradale Be Launched in India?
No launch schedule has been declared by Benelli for India, and as of now, the TRK 902 Stradale seems to be primarily aimed at international markets. However, if the TRK 502’s popularity in India and the increasing demand for large-capacity touring motorcycles are taken into account, then it will not be surprising that Benelli eventually, brings the TRK 902 Stradale to Indian dealerships. The Stradale, if launched, would have to face competition from the likes of Kawasaki Versys 650, Honda NX500, and Moto Morini X-Cape, but with more features and a bigger engine.
