1. Tata Sierra

The Tata Sierra is an SUV that has created huge anticipation among the public. The famous name is going to be seen in a new and completely modern avatar, which will include everything from an all-new design, and advanced attributes to new powertrain options. The new Sierra is going to come with two engine options in petrol. The basic variants will feature a new 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit expected to generate a power of around 120 bhp making it easier for Tata to keep the starting price appealing. The premium variants are going to have the most powerful engine of 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol with 170 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. The Sierra is targeting three types of customers the price conscious, the performance oriented, and the eco-friendly ones.

2. Tata Harrier

The testing of the Tata Harrier around the plant has most probably confirmed the addition of the new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine to the lineup soon. The Harrier will be getting the same four-cylinder turbo engine as the Sierra with 170 bhp and 280 Nm torque. Besides, Tata may offer both manual and automatic transmissions with this powertrain. However, it is not clear whether the naturally aspirated petrol engine will be available on the Harrier, but the turbo-petrol is expected to enhance the Harrier’s versatility and competitiveness in its segment.

3. Tata Safari

After the Harrier, the Tata Safari is also going to take the new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. With this step, the car will be able to attract new customers which are basically three-row SUVs with a petrol option, that is, the current situation in the market. The Safari petrol will probably carry forward with the same aesthetics and characteristics as the diesel version, where the only big thing different would be the new powertrain. This new feature will not only help Tata to add a new customer base but also solidify the Safari’s position in the luxury SUV segment.

4. Tata Punch Facelift

The Tata Punch is one of the major success stories from the automaker’s lineup and the company is looking to give it a facelift. The company already showed off the updated version of Punch in various locations where it had trials, and this SUV will still remain the starting point of Tata’s SUV wing. It is going to be available in both petrol and iCNG variants. The petrol unit will keep the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine of three cylinders with an output of 87 bhp and 115 Nm, whereas the CNG version will have a power of 72 bhp and 103 Nm. Also, the options of a manual or an AMT gearbox will always be there. The facelift will not only throw in a new design and features but also keep the Punch fashionable and worthy of its price in the market.
