Tata Punch Facelift Spied Again – Launch Expected in Early 2026

Tata Punch Facelift – The Tata Punch facelift has been spotted testing once again on public roads, hinting that Tata Motors is getting ready for its next big upgrade. Earlier reports claimed the launch would happen this year, but the latest spy shots confirm that the updated Punch will now arrive in early 2026. This mid-cycle refresh aims to improve styling, comfort, and safety while keeping the Punch’s strong value-for-money image intact.

Exterior

The new Punch facelift seems heavily inspired by the Punch.ev. The front design is expected to become sharper and more modern, with slimmer DRLs and brighter LED headlamps that improve both look and visibility. Tata Motors is giving the SUV a cleaner and more elegant design with a new radiator grille featuring horizontal slats. The front and rear bumpers also appear to be redesigned for a more mature stance.

Spy shots also reveal new 16-inch alloy wheels and updated LED tail lamps. The tail lamp cluster is expected to get a fresh shape, giving the SUV a more premium and stylish appearance from the rear.

Interior

Inside the cabin, Tata is working on making the Punch feel more premium. A new two-spoke steering wheel—similar to the one in the Punch.ev has been spotted, complete with an illuminated Tata logo, which will surely appeal to young and tech-savvy buyers. The dashboard layout is expected to stay familiar but with added refinements.

The biggest upgrade could be the 10.2-inch fully digital instrument cluster. Ventilated front seats may also make their way into the facelifted model, offering better comfort during long drives or hot weather. Tata Motors is also expected to improve the feature list with additions like a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitor, and six airbags to enhance overall safety.

Engine

The facelifted Tata Punch is not expected to receive any mechanical changes. It will continue to be powered by the same 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine delivering 87 hp and 115 Nm torque. The bi-fuel petrol-CNG option will also remain, producing 72 hp and 115 Nm torque on CNG.

A 5-speed manual gearbox will stay standard. Currently, the AMT option is offered only with the petrol model, but Tata might extend the AMT to the CNG variant as well, giving buyers more flexibility.

Launch and Expected Price

The new Tata Punch facelift is likely to debut in early 2026. With the added features and cosmetic upgrades, the starting price is expected to be around INR 5.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The Punch is already one of Tata Motors’ best-selling cars, and this facelift aims to strengthen its position even further in the micro-SUV segment.
