Tata Sierra SUV launch Updates – Engine options, pricing, features & more

Tata Sierra SUV – Tata Motors has made it public that the all-new 2025 Tata Sierra has been launched in India. The Sierra is an SUV that is going to be placed in the mid-size segment and is an allowed competition to the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Victoris, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Mahindra Thar Roxx, Honda Elevate, etc. The prices are predicted to be around Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base model and may reach nearly Rs 22 lakh for the top-end variant with all the bells and whistles.

Design

The new 2025 Sierra has a striking, contemporary design that features the classic three-quarter glass look. The SUV boasts a panoramic roof, the use of flush glass, a black contrasting roof band, 19-inch alloy wheels, hidden door handles, black molding, and a clamshell-type rear. The front of the vehicle is accentuated with LED lights and the back with LEDs and a Light Saber LED DRL all contributing to the ability of the car to woo with its appearance. The offering will be in six color options i.e. Bengal Rouge, Coorg Clouds, Munnar Mist, Pristine White, Pure Grey, and Andaman Adventure.

Interior

The interior of the Sierra consists of a black-and-grey cabin, in which case the digital cluster and the two displays for the infotainment system can be counted among the three screens in the setup. The surface of the dashboard is made of soft-touch material, while the cabin includes the features of ambient lighting, ventilated powered front seats, floating armrests, wireless charging, and a panoramic sunroof. The sound is delivered by a 12-speaker JBL system with Dolby Atmos. The SUV is capable of providing very comfortable seating for the passengers due to the huge legroom and the flat floor in the rear section for the center passenger.

Engine 

Tata is going to provide three engine choices: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre Hyperion turbo petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel. Both manual and automatic gearboxes are anticipated, along with numerous driving and terrain modes. The size of the trunk is calculated to be approximately 500 liters. The Sierra will first be available in the form of ICE models, with an electric variant scheduled for release in the early part of next year.

Features and Safety

The Sierra is fitted with state-of-the-art technology such as dual-zone climate control, Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake, an auto-hold function, and ventilated power seats. Steering, HVAC, and other controls are designed for ease of use and comfort, being similar to the layout of Tata’s bigger SUVs.
